New Wave Artists Melo Banjo And Adebo Music Set To Deliver An Electrifying Performance At The Young And Alive Concert Mombasa Edition
Young and alive concert is almost here, with music, art and food enthusiast flocking to the swahilipot Hub for what should be a memorable experience.
The stacked lineup will kick off on Saturday morning (April 28) and run throughout the day coming to an end that night.
The anticipated event ( Young and alive concert) will be highlighted by Afro-Kapuka and RnB artist Melo Banjo. A graduate of the famous Sauti Academy music school Melo has worked with industry’s biggest names from Papa Dennis to controversial gospel musician Willy Paul.
With a 5 years experience in live music performance, the lengana hitmaker has performed in festivals and major concerts in the country.Fans are expecting an electrifying performance from him at the Young and alive concert.
Joining the performance list is Adebo a new skool hip-hop artist that hails from the ghetto streets of Santana Magongo located in the outskirts of Mombasa Island.
Coming up with an urbanised style of rap fused with African sounds has always been tricky since the coastal music audience been embracing Swahili-Taarab influenced type of music.
With time Adebo has managed to convince coastal fans into vibing with urban hiphop/pop sounds. Adebo has earned respect throughout the continent thus at one time he collaborated with Zimbabwe’s finest emcee Abedi on “Sun Kindred”.
He has also shared stage with major hip-hop acts like Khaligraph Jones, King Kaka and Nyashinsky. He’s set to release his debut mixtape this year with a couple of visuals. Be sure to catch his electrifying performance at the Young & Alive Concert on 28th April at Swahilipot Hub Mombasa.
