Bonga By King Kaka | A Musical Review To The Sociopolitical Track
King Kaka Release Video To His New Sociopolitical Track Bonga (Speak).
For the past few months, the country has been going through a lot of tension and fear. All due to the annulment of the August presidential election result. Further caused by the October 26 re-election process. In his new sociopolitical song titled Bonga, King Kaka addresses all this.
Bonga is a sociopolitical track which is a Swahili word for Speak. The conscious track comes amidst the long-drawn-out electoral process that has seen violence break out in some parts of the country.
In the track, King Kaka addresses everything that’s wrong with Kenyan politics; corruption, tribalism, unemployment, police brutality, street protests, and more.
Hii ndio independence tulipigania?
They must be turning in their graves Akina Bildad kaggia
Time dollar imefika mia
Na Tv radio zimekuwa kimywa
Si mfunge stations
Wameiba wako vacation
What’s the irony Sisi ndio tunasota
Kawaida mwananchi works anakosa
Wasanii Hakuna concerts
Ni wapi Kenya Tulikosa
Generally, Bonga is meant to reach peace and love among Kenyans and not divided among political lines.
The video is a slideshow made from numerous pictures of political theme. It contains pictures of street protesters, political leaders in their campaigns.
This is so far the best track by the Kaka Empire CEO. Check out the video and let us know what your thoughts are.
