Bodak Yellow Remix | Cardi B Brings Kodak Black Onboard For Her Billboard Smash Hit
Fresh off the release of his new album Project Baby 2, Kodak Black has teamed up with Bronx native Cardi B in Bodak Yellow Remix. While Cardi B’s undeniable Billboard smash “Bodak Yellow” rises up the charts, the song receives an official remix from labelmate Kodak Black. This remix comes right after Janet Jackson put her stamp on the song at a recent concert.
The song has been of major interest as of late, and for good reason. Not only has “Bodak Yellow” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, but it’s also earned Cardi a gold plaque and helped propel her rap career.
In Bodak Yellow Cardi B adopted the flow Kodak Black used for his song “No Flockin” three years ago—hence, the obvious Kodak reference in Cardi’s song title.
As cool as it would have been, Kodak opts against using his famous “No Flockin” flow, instead using a delayed, staccato delivery to kill the instrumental. He still turns in a solid verse, though.
The Bodak Yellow remix should help Cardi B’s chances of hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 next week. Her fans are certainly doing their part to help her dethrone Taylor Swift.
