Afrima Awards &  NEA Awards | Kenyan Entertainers Spotlight In Two Continental Awards

All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA is designed to promote the distinct rich African music worldwide, engaging millions of fans by propelling African music to glorious pinnacles beyond the borders of Africa.

The highly anticipated nominee’s list for the 4th edition of the 2017 All African Music Awards and Festivals one of the biggest African Music Awards in Diaspora has been released. The award ceremony which moves to a more prestigious venue ‘House of Blues’, Dallas, Texas promises to be a star-studded one.

Wizkid, Tekno, Mr. Eazi, Davido, Runtown, Ray Vanny, Fally Ipupa, Diamond Platnumz, Vanessa Mdee, Ali Kiba and Flavour are some of the biggest names in the continent who are topping the awards nomination.

Kenya has not been left behind, Our artist and entertainers are also spearheading the nominee list. From Octopizzo, Victoria Kimani, Avril, Akothee, Sauti sol, Nyashinski to fresh faces like Chess Nthussi and the latest Chocolate city music label  member Qritiqal all stand a chance of walking home with the 23.9 karats gold-plated Afrima trophy.

 

Shading more light on the two, Chess Nthussi  chess is a young beautiful versatile talented Kenyan singer, song writer and performer. Her music, speaks of the female human experience between the age of 18 and 30 years.

Qritiqal on the other side  is a kenyan reggae and dancehall artiste who made his major impact on the music scene with jams like ‘Weak Inside’ and ‘Ride Pon Me Glory’ both songs releasd back in 2010.  The malaika hitmaker was added to the chocolate city diverse African roster. He was signed to the kenyan arm of Chocolate city and all this happened on his birthday, what a great present.

In other great news are our boy band Africa’s best music group Sauti sol have been nominated in the  NEA Awards for the #BestMaleArtist in Africa (Non Nigerian) nomination. The 2017 Nigerian Entertainment Awards will be held on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017. The nominees for the 2017 NEA Awards have been released.
