Stella Mwangi Goes Big Again | ‘Big Girl’ Lands Her Another Hollywood Deal

After Making it to the Runway With Tommy Hilfiger, Stella Mwangi Is Back In Hollywood

The  Kenyan-Norwegian female rapper Stella Mwangi is currently enjoying the attention of Hollywood after the release of her self-titled EP, ‘Stella Mwangi.’

The Norway-based Kenyan singer, songwriter and rapper seems to be soaring even higher this year.  The artist’s 5th track off the EP, titled ‘Work, was featured in a fashion show organized by world-renowned fashion designer, Tommy Hilfiger, and American supermodel Gigi Hadid. The bumpy and upbeat track set the theme for models to strut Tommy Hilfiger’s summer/spring line 2017 fashion show in Los Angeles.

‘Work’ was also named as the official theme song for Reebok Classics Free Your Style 2017 campaign.  Recently the same track recently featuring on Top 100 Radio chart in Italy with her song Work ranking at number 18, she has gone on to an even bigger stage.
Stella Mwangi has got another one of her songs featured in an upcoming film. She tweeted on Monday afternoon that her song Big Girl would be used as a soundtrack to an upcoming movie that features Scarlet Johanson. The movie titled Rough Night is set to be released on June 16th this year and will have STL’s song on it. She wrote on her facebook

This is not the first time her song has been used as a soundtrack in film. Her song ‘Set it Off’ was used in the 3rd episode of Being Maryjane season 4.
