Avril – Uko | The Curvy Kaka Empire Songbird Reveals Her Queenly and Fiery Side
Avril is one of the Kenyan female artists who have managed to remain relevant in the ever-growing and highly competitive Kenyan music industry and time over she has never disappointed us musically or fashion-wise.
This year has seen artist upping their games way high than their normal capability, we’ve seen quality video, quality audio production and a lot of creativity from video producers. Avril has not been left out, first let me confess something. I had lost trust on Avril, i felt that she was not giving us her best, she has done quite some project but the were way below her capability. Yesterday i watched a music video by her and i was like finally this is her.
The Curvy Kaka Empire songbird and her stable present the audio and video of her new project ‘Uko.’ The song produced by Cedo (Pacho Group) is an emotive single in which Avril appears to channel her queenly and fiery side to address her naysayers and the fake people in her life. The video directed by top director JBlessing starts almost similar to that of Beyoncé Haunted of her 2013 album was shot at the historical Lord Egerton Castle in Avril’s hometown in Nakuru.
