Jaguar Could End Up In Court As Tobiko Takes Up Accident Issue
Arguably the wealthiest and most philanthropic artiste in Kenya Charles Njagua Kanyi, popularly known a Jaguar might be having bad blood with the director of public prosecution Keriako Tobiko, following a car accident in which the musician’s car was involved on Tuesday. DPP Keriako Tobiko has ordered a through probe on the matter.
The directive to the DCI read
I direct you to ensure thorough investigations are conducted and the resultant inquiry file forwarded to this office for perusal and appropriate directions
the accident along the makutano-sagana high way left two people who were on a motorbike dead. a witness said a woman was driving the range rover sport when it hit the motorbike, which was heading in the opposite direction, however jaguar said he was driving the car.
Jaguar wrote on his social media platform and i quote
I was involved in a car accident. Sadly, lives were lost in the incident. It isnt any ones will to wake up and be involved in an accident such as this. My heart felt condolences to the families and friends of those affected. I would like to assure all concerned that due process of the law is being followed to amicably resolve this. I pray God grant strength to the families affected as we all go through this trying moment. Lastly, lets avoid confrontational remarks in consideration to the pain it is causing the bereaved families.
